Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with celebrity fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare on January 10th in a dreamy wedding ceremony held in Udaipur.
Videos from the Christian wedding show an emotional Aamir wiping away tears as Ira walked down the aisle in a gorgeous white gown and tiara to exchange vows with Nupur. Aamir’s ex-wife and Ira’s mother Reena Dutta stood beside the actor during the ceremony.
The couple sealed their union with a kiss after being pronounced husband and wife by Ira’s cousin Zayn Marie Khan, who officiated the wedding. Nupur complimented his bride’s minimalist glamour in a pale yellow suit.
Among the attendees were Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal and badminton ace Jwala Gutta, who blessed the newlyweds on social media afterward. “God bless the newlyweds,” Vishnu wrote on Instagram.

Ira and Nupur had an intimate three-day celebration in Udaipur including a mehendi, sangeet and pajama party. They had already signed their marriage registration in Mumbai on January 3 in the presence of close friends and family.
The couple will also be hosting a Mumbai reception for industry colleagues on January 13 at the Nita Ambani Cultural Center.
Ira, who has been open about her struggles with depression, got engaged to longtime boyfriend Nupur last year in September. As she embarks on her new journey, fans can’t wait to see the Khan family celebrate the happy union in style at the upcoming reception party.
