Marco Bezzecchi Win at Inaugural MotoGP Bharat Race
MotoGP Bharat Race: Italian motorcycle racer Marco Bezzecchi secured a historic victory at the first-ever Indian GP held at the Buddh International Circuit in Noida on September 23. Racing for the Mooney VR46 Racing team, Bezzecchi clinched the top spot, etching his name in motorcycle racing history.
Under the watchful eyes of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who presented the race-winning trophy, Bezzecchi completed the race with exceptional timing. He finished in 36 minutes, 59 seconds, and 15 microseconds (36:59.15). Jorge Martin from Prima Pramac Racing and Fabio Quartararo from Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP followed closely behind, with gaps of 8.649 seconds and 8.855 seconds, respectively.
Bezzecchi’s Dominance Amidst Challenges
The race witnessed a series of moments as Bezzecchi navigated through crashes and high-speed pursuits. He maintained a significant lead. He also took advantage of Marc Marquez’s crash thereby securing an uncontested victory.

In the Moto2 category, Pedro Acosta, representing the KTM Ajo team, secured victory. While Jaume Masia from Leopard Racing emerged victorious in the Moto3 race. The Moto3 race was particularly exciting, offering young riders valuable experience on 125 cc race machines.
