Bollywood superstar Salman Khan arrived at the Bigg Boss 18 set late Thursday night, amidst heightened security concerns. The 58-year-old actor, known for his charismatic hosting of the popular reality show, was flanked by an extensive security detail as he entered the compound.
Salman Khan to host Bigg Boss 18 in high security
According to a source, Salman Khan retreated to his chalet within the premises, a precautionary measure taken ahead of Friday’s scheduled shoot.
In close coordination with Khan’s personal security and the channel, the production team has implemented stringent safety protocols to ensure the actor’s well-being during filming.
60 personnel to be present during the shoot
“More than 60 security personnel will be present on set during the shoot,” the source revealed. “No outsiders are allowed to enter the compound without proper Aadhar card verification.”
In an unprecedented move, the Bigg Boss 18 crew has been instructed to remain on-site until the completion of two Weekend Ka Vaar episodes, set to air this weekend.
Salman Khan gets a fresh threat
The intensified security measures come in the wake of a chilling threat allegedly issued by a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang to Mumbai Traffic Police. The message demanded a staggering Rs 5 crore from Khan to settle a long-standing feud, ominously warning that failure to comply would result in consequences “worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique,” who was tragically shot dead recently.
In response to these alarming developments, Salman Khan has been granted Y-plus security. A police escort vehicle now accompanies the actor’s transport, with a specially trained constable proficient in handling various weapons assigned to his protection detail.
