Indian cinema legend Rajinikanth has been discharged from Chennai’s Apollo Hospital following a successful cardiac procedure, marking another triumphant return for the seemingly unstoppable superstar. The 73-year-old actor left the hospital late Thursday night (October 3), greeted by crowds of relieved fans.

The health scare involved a concerning swelling in the actor’s aorta – the heart’s main blood vessel. In a testament to modern medical advances, the condition was resolved through a non-surgical approach. Dr. Sai Satish, a senior interventional cardiologist, performed a transcatheter procedure, skillfully placing a stent to address the aortic swelling.
“Mr Rajinikanth is stable and recovering well,” the hospital had assured in their statement, a promise that proved true with the star’s swift recovery.
While the superstar was under medical care, his daughter Soundarya was spotted at the Tiruvottiyur Shri Vadivudai Amman Temple, seeking divine intervention for her father’s recovery – a moment that touched fans across social media platforms.
