A famous choreographer in the Telugu film industry, Jani Master has been charged with an FIR after a former colleague accused him of sexual harassment done multiple times over several years.
Is Telugu Choreographer Jani Master a womanizer?
According to the complainant, she alleged the sexual assault started when she was just a ‘minor.’ Amid the accusation, a case has been filed against Jani Master, who is majorly known as a choreographer in blockbuster movies like Bahubali and Pushpa: The Rise.
She further alleged multiple events of sexual harassment. Due to this, she approached the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce with allegations against the accused. The film body has a panel to deal with sexual abuse/assault cases.
Here’s what the panel chief said on this matter:
Talking to the media, Janshi, an actor and the chairperson of the designated panel said that the complainant was a minor when the assault was first started and this would even attract the provisions of the POSCO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act. The body took this matter into cognizance and advised her to approach the police.
Moreover, the film body also asked the Telugu dance directors’ body, of which Jani Master is president, not to allow him to discharge any function.
Who was the victim and was she threatened by the accused?
Amid the serious allegations, an FIR has been lodged instantly. Jani Master has been charged with rape and criminal intimation. In the complaint, the victim said that she worked as Jani Master’s assistant.
The choreographer had sexually harassed her multiple times during their outdoor shoots in different cities, she added. That’s not it, she also faced a threat to her life, when the accused threatened her that she wouldn’t get any work opportunities.

Jani Master is a member of the Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena, which is part of the ruling coalition in Andhra Pradesh. The Jana Sena said Jani Master has been asked to stay away from the party’s events.
