Nun II Release
The Nun II is a part of the highly successful The Conjuring Universe. Except for the movie “The Curse of La Llorna, all movies have earned over $200 million across the world.
The Nun II movie raked in $3.1 million during its Thursday previews. Thus, the course for a $30 million domestic debut was set. This performance comes in a period of relatively subdued box office activity following a spectacular summer season. To put it in perspective, back in 2018, “The Nun” opened to a franchise-best of $53 million after earning $5.4 million from Thursday previews.
The movie went on to amass a total domestic revenue of $117 million, making it a standout within the Conjuring Universe directed by Tom Hardy. Impressively, it still holds the title of the highest-grossing film in the Conjuring Universe globally, with a whopping $363 million in earnings.
About the Movie
The story of Nun II takes place in France in the 1950s. The movie features Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene. It also includes Jonas Bloquet, Bonnie Aarons, and many more. The 4th movie in Conjuring World is The Conjuring: Last Rites.
Here, a priest is violently murdered for which the sister Irene begins to investigate. Later, she comes in face-to-face with an evil very powerful.
Nun II Reviews
In comparison with Nun I; the Nun II has received superior reviews. It thereby remains a particularly dominant player. The movie has received a rotten 55% score on Rotten Tomatoes which got it an approval rating of 55%

“Great movie to watch, watch it in 4DX if possible. The movie is filled with suspenseful scare sequences and is absolutely entertaining. The acting is good, the horror sequences are worth it and the story continues where the last one left off. The movie is not dull at all and will not bore you. In a Samantha Colley review, she was impressed by Nun II and also called it the best addition to the franchise’s collection other than the core movies.
However, in terms of opening Nun II is staggered to perform alongside the same range as the previous 2 movies from Chave. Conjuring 3 and The Curse of La Llorona made $ 24 million and $26.6 million in the first weekend release respectively.
