Bombay House: A Culinary Tribute to Ratan Tata, to be Open in UAE

A new Indian restaurant, aptly named Bombay House, is set to open its doors in the UAE, paying homage to the iconic Tata Group headquarters in Mumbai.

The venture, launched by Sowaka Hospitality, is a heartfelt tribute to the late Ratan Tata, whose visionary leadership and philanthropic spirit left an indelible mark on industry and society.

Bombay House: A Tribute to Ratan Tata

Bombay House, more than just a restaurant, seeks to embody the core values of excellence, integrity, and innovation that defined Ratan Tata’s legacy. The restaurant’s name is a direct nod to the Tata Group headquarters, which itself is a testament to Ratan Tata’s influence.

Known for his compassion for animals, especially dogs, Ratan Tata ensured that Bombay House was a welcoming space for all creatures. In 2018, a kennel was built on the ground floor of the office, providing a comfortable and safe haven for stray dogs.

Charitable Trust

To honour Ratan Tata’s legacy, Bombay House has pledged to donate five per cent of its profits to charitable causes in the UAE, focusing on cancer care and animal shelters. This commitment reflects the restaurant’s dedication to giving back to the community and carrying forward the philanthropic spirit that Ratan Tata exemplified.

Bombay House will offer a diverse menu that celebrates India’s rich culinary heritage. By fusing classic Indian flavours with modern gastronomic techniques, the restaurant aims to provide guests with a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

Beyond its culinary offerings, Bombay House aspires to be a cultural hub, offering a welcoming and refined atmosphere where guests can truly appreciate the essence of Indian cuisine.
