Why is Gautam Adani indicted?
The allegations stem from a US Department of Justice indictment charging Adani and his nephew with paying approximately Rs 2,029 crore in bribes to Indian government officials between 2020 and 2024. The bribes were allegedly made to secure solar power contracts with state electricity distribution companies.
