Bumrah, who secured nine wickets for 94 runs in the match, added 14 points to his tally, bringing his total to 904 rating points. This milestone equals the rating achieved by Ravichandran Ashwin in December 2016 after the fourth Test against England in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Siraj has climbed to 24th place, and Travis Head has entered the top 100 bowlers.
On the batting front, Head’s impressive innings of 152 in the first innings has propelled him past India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal to fourth place in the rankings, led by Joe Root.
