WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows Android users to have two WhatsApp accounts on a single device. This feature was previously in beta testing. It is now being rolled out to users, simplifying the management of personal and work accounts.

The new Multiple Accounts feature streamlines how users manage multiple WhatsApp accounts on one device. It eliminates the hassle of constantly logging in and out or needing to carry two phones. Now, you can seamlessly switch between accounts without any inconvenience.

Setting Up a Second / Multiple WhatsApp Account

To set up a second WhatsApp account on your Android device, you will need a second phone number and SIM card. Alternatively, if your phone supports multi-SIM or eSIM, you can use that. 

The setup process is straightforward:

  • Open WhatsApp and access your settings.

  • Select “Add account.”

Once you’ve added the second account, you can customize privacy and notification settings for each account to tailor your experience.

He emphasized that this update allows users to have two WhatsApp accounts on one phone, all within the app. Whether it’s for managing work and personal accounts or any other use case, users can now switch between accounts effortlessly.
